I have shelves filled with photos albums from all the adventures I have had over the years. Each year the albums got a bit more sophisticated, and the last few years I've worked up to creating scrapbook style albums, on archival paper with themed spreads.
Christmas 2003, I received my first digital SLR camera, a Canon Rebel. I could use the lenses from my Canon Elan film SLR, and there was no turning back! I haven’t shot film since.
While I’ve always enjoyed traveling, the albums represented on this web site start with a trip to Alaska in August 2004. By Christmas I had already planned the big vacation to Alaska for the coming August. Along with getting the camera for the holidays, I also got a cancer diagnosis. I spent the first half of 2004 in treatment, my travel plans temporarily on hold. The long planned Alaska trip was truly my “coming out party”, and my first real opportunity to take digital photos.
Since then I’ve had other memorable vacations as you can see, I invite you to browse the albums.
I’ve also had some other really wonderful experiences. Click back to the home page to see what else I have been up to with my wonderful friends. I hope you enjoy the visual journey.
