Vacations

Friends "Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom" Marcel Proust

I seem to be able to find the good times year round; check out my latest adventures. As I mentioned, I have formed many lifelong friendships through the ski club, but I also have had the good fortune to develop friendships from other places as well. Perhaps it's that I really enjoy interacting with people, but I am grateful for every friend I have and feel fortunate to have met them.

They have been there with me through the ups and downs, and thankfully there are more "ups". We never seem to lack for a party or an adventure. There's a group I do revolving theme dinners with, and the group that I do a camping weekend with every year.

There are also the Halloween parties - we won prizes there for a while, but have missed going the past few years. And there were the costumed Murder Mystery dinners that we had fun doing.

I love to get out on the water when possible; sailboats, big and small and the thrills of white water rafting. Heart stopping rafting on the upper Yough in the summer of '05 along with a camp and sunset tour of Falling Water in western PA, and a weekend raft trip to the New and Gauley Rivers in West Virginia to experience Bridge Day in October 2004.

When I'm not on water, I like to look at water, which the Rickett's Glen hike offered - a 6 mile trail takes you past 23 waterfalls. There's been bike outings and other fun stuff - so check it out!
